Important update on Right To Buy (RTB) discounts - The government announced in the autumn 2024 budget that Right to Buy (RTB) discounts will be reduced from Thursday 21 November 2024. As a result, we have seen a significant increase in RTB queries and applications. Green bin collections - Please note that green bin collections are suspended from 4 November for the south of our district (Calendar B) and 11 November for the north of our district (Calendar A). They will resume in March 2025. 

Annual Governance Statement - We have published our Annual Governance Statement 2023/24. This statement explains how we have complied with the code for the year ended 31 March 2024 and also how it meets the requirements of the Accounts and Audit (England) Regulations 2015.

Pension Credit - We are encouraging all people who are of pensionable age to apply for Pension Credit, even if they do not think they are eligible.
