Sock It To The Scammers is the new fraud campaign by Derbyshire Constabulary, created to raise awareness of commonly reported fraud attempts in Derbyshire and how to stop them.

The key message is Stop. Think. Tell. If you suspect a scam, or something just doesn't feel right, take a moment to consider before doing anything else.

Tell someone you trust and discuss your concerns if you're still not sure. If you think you've been the victim of a scam report it.

The aim is to get the videos in front of as many people as possible, in the hope that not only will they be alerted to the tactics of fraudsters, but that they will also share the crime prevention tips and advice with family, friends and neighbours who might not be online.
