From starting life as an army canteen, Newton Community Centre has gone through a lot of changes in its 105-year history.
Recently, a mysterious dip appeared in the floor and it was decided to rip it out and replace it with a brand new one.
The building has been closed since 2022 while the extensive work was undertaken and the team at the centre are now ready to reopen the building again.
Bolsover TV (opens in a new window) went down to see them and find out more about the repair process.
