Pinxton Village Hall is a well used and much loved asset to the village, but the building interior hasn’t been upgraded for around forty years.
So, Pinxton Parish Council have started a refurbishment programme that will make the rooms more practical for users and to modernise the look and feel of the building. The initial work on the bar area and small meeting room is due to be completed in January, with work then due to start on the other areas of the building, including the toilets and main hall.
Bolsover TV (opens in a new window) went to take a look at how the works were progressing and to find out more.
