A band that was originally set up to encourage people to play instruments and bring a bit of music to Blackwell is going from strength to strength.

Three years ago, the Unity Concert Band started with just 14 members but now has over 40 and the band are gearing up for their next concert on 27 April at Newton Community Centre.
