A group of residents in Langwith Bassett have got together to help brighten up their area.

The Bassett is a quintessential English cul-de-sac comprising of a central circular green that has six large trees encompassed within it. And the community have been planting daffodil bulbs on the green to give the children something to do during half-term and to make the area look nice and pleasant.

Local resident Laura Dawson got the group together and Bolsover TV (opens in a new window) asked her why she wanted to do this.
