At a recent Council meeting, we passed a motion to launch a local awareness campaign encouraging people to apply for Pension Credit, which can help them access the Winter Fuel Payment.

Our Council Leader will also write to the government urging them to review the decision to means-test the Winter Fuel Payment and ensure that vulnerable pensioners are protected from fuel poverty.
