We have issued two fixed penalty notices for breach of a Community Protection Notice in Shirebrook.

The £100 fixed penalty notices were issued following reports of loud music being played and having a detrimental effect on the community.

We issued an informal warning to stop the playing of loud music affecting local residents which was ignored, resulting in a formal notice being issued to the perpetrator.

Again, this was ignored on two occasions, resulting in the two fixed penalty notices being issued.
