A Bolsover resident has paid a £100 fixed penalty notice for littering from a vehicle in April 2024.

A resident in Palterton provided CCTV evidence to us and we launched an investigation. The CCTV provided clear evidence that a bag of waste was thrown from the passenger side of a company owned vehicle on 25 April 2024.

The company who owned the vehicle provided the relevant details of the employee responsible and they were issued with a £100 fixed penalty notice, which has since been paid.

Littering is a crime and we will take enforcement action against all perpetrators of environmental crime in our district to keep it clean and tidy.
