Our street scene team do a fabulous job of keeping the streets and pavements clean and tidy. But sadly, it is never enough to keep the district clear of litter all the time.

So, as the Great British Spring Clean approaches (15-31 March 2024), it is the perfect opportunity to get out with a litter picking kit and tidy up your local area.

Back for its ninth year, the Great British Spring Clean is the nation’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign and last year, an army of amazing litter heroes pledged to pick more than 400,000 bags of litter.
