Contact centres

As we have been placed into a national lockdown, our Contact Centres are closed for face-to-face customers but we can still be contacted by telephone 01246 242424, This email address is being protected from spambots. We will be re-opening on Monday 12 April 2021 in line with government guidelines and appropriate Covid-19 measures will be in place. This will include restricted access into the building with no more than 2 customers allowed at any one time, customers must wear masks and sanitizing stations will be available for use.


We have four Contact Centres situated throughout the District where you can get an answer to your query either by speaking to an advisor over the telephone on 01246 242424, face-to-face, via This email address is being protected from spambots. The Contact Centres are open from 9am to 5pm Monday-Friday and are located at:

  • Bolsover Contact Centre, Cotton Street, Bolsover S44 6HR
  • Clowne Contact Centre, The Arc, High Street, Clowne S43 4JY
  • Shirebrook Contact Centre, 209 Station Road, Shirebrook NG20 8AF
  • South Normanton Contact Centre, The Hub, Shiners Way, South Normanton DE55 2AA

The Contact Centres are your first point of contact with us and they provide a wide range of council services from Council tax to CAN rangers and contributions to the cost of TV licence applications to assisting with taxi licences. You can also report a number of issues to us like fly tipping, missed bins or litter or request services such as bulky waste collection through our Self Service portal or make a payment.
