Children have wonderful, active imaginations.

And they can get this through play, socialising, watching television and writing.

But it is the latter where one of our local schools, Bramley Vale Primary School, hope to inspire the next generation of poets and writers.

They want to encourage their children to tap into their creativity and forge new relationships with words. So, working with Writing East Midlands, they invited a local poet to come and work with their children. Bolsover TV (opens in a new window) went along to speak to the poet, Tyler Turner and see what her hope was for the children.
