We have approved a new Risk Management Strategy 2022.

This strategy sets out the mechanisms and processes for both the maintenance and development of Risk Management within our operational framework. Whilst the main focus of the arrangements set out will be in respect of our own activities, it also recognises that key elements of our service delivery may well be delivered by way of partnership working.

Risk management is a tool and not be seen as something we ‘must do’ but rather something we ‘need to do’ to achieve our objectives. It is an essential tool in helping to bring a greater level of understanding of those risks; it enables us to be more prepared, more resilient to change, more able to minimise threats and more able to seize opportunities.
