Over the past year, the Robin Hood Line Community Rail Partnership has been working hard to celebrate the rich and exciting heritage of the Midland Railway between Mansfield and Worksop which was built in 1875.
As a result, heritage interpretation panels have been installed on all stations between Kirkby-in-Ashfield and Worksop, and a booklet has been produced with a mobile exhibition touring the area.
To celebrate this amazing project, an official launch event took place at Shirebrook station to thank the many volunteers who helped complete the project and Bolsover TV (opens in a new window) went along to speak to some of those involved.
