Experience a Summer Adventure and enjoy the thrills and spills of outdoor life as Pleasley Vale Outdoor Activity Centre is now taking bookings for its summer holiday programme.
Over the summer months, the centre will be open to provide activities such as canoeing, raft building, abseiling, archery and climbing, all under the watchful eye of qualified instructors.
The sessions take place every Monday to Wednesday from 26 July to 1 September (excluding 30 August) and instructors guarantee two things – you will have fun and you will get wet, so don’t forget to bring a towel, some spare clothes and a spare pair of trainers.
The sessions are aimed at children aged eight years and above and will cost £25 per person per day or £15 per person per day for Go! Active members.
Councillor David Downes, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Tourism said, “We are delighted to be able to open the doors to our Outdoor Activity Centre to the public again. It is the perfect place to enjoy what the outdoors can offer, burn off some energy and experience new activities but most of all, have some fun during the summer.
“We have put on a packed programme of activities that will suit all tastes and experiences, so I would urge people to book their place now before they are all gone. “
Booking is essential and can be done by telephoning 01246 242424 (Go! Active members need to book via 01246 242 365) stating you want to book for the Pleasley Vale Outdoor Activity centre Summer Programme and participants must bring a packed lunch with them.
