We continually look at what activities we provide at our Go! Active (opens in a new window) leisure facility and whether there are any gaps or changes to the timetables that need making.

One of these gaps is the provision of activities for 7 to 14 year olds. So we are launching three new activities for this age range.

Top spin table tennis

An inspiring introduction to table tennis. This fun-based ping pong game will take place in a relaxed. No equipment is required and it is for boys and girls of all abilities aged 7 to 14 years. It will start on Tuesday 24 September 2024 from 5–6pm and will cost just £3 per session.

Ace racket sports

Serving up tasters of lawn, soft, short and cardio tennis with added pickleball, badminton and stoolball. No equipment is required and it is for boys and girls of all abilities aged 7 to 14 years. It will start on Wednesday 25 September 2024 from 5–6pm and costs just £3 per session.

Hit for six cricket awards

Learn and develop your batting, bowling and fielding skills with our Cricket Foundation Coach. Enjoy fun games and have the chance to achieve awards at three levels. No equipment is required and it is for boys and girls of all abilities aged 7 to 14 years. It will start on Thursday 26 September 2024 from 4–5pm and costs just £3 per session
